Tressis has appointed Jorge González González as director of its fund analysis and research team, the firm has confirmed to Investment Europe.
The appointment, which will be made effective on the 1st of July, follows the departures of Javier Monjardín and Amilcar Barrios from the firm's fund analysis team earlier this year.
González, who will be taking on Monjardín's former role, joined the fund analysis department of Tressis in September 2013, where he is currently one of its four investment analysts.
Salomé Bouzas, Andrea Amor, and Fernando Sanz are the three investment analysts who, alongside González, make up the analysis team.
Salomé Bouzas joined Tressis in 2013 and since 2014, she is part of the firm's portfolio management and analysis teams.
Andrea Amor joined the firm in April this year. She previously worked at various entities including Finizens, Feelcapital, and Kessler & Casadevall.
Fernando Sanz was also appointed earlier this year, in January. He formerly worked at companies including Credit Agricole CIB, DWS and the Spanish exchange operator Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME).
Javier Monjardín departed Tressis earlier this year to join Deutsche Bank Wealth Management as an investment adviser. He then joined Deutsche Bank´s Wealth Investment Advisory team, where he now reports to Puy Carazo, director of the firm´s Investments Advisory since 2017.
Amilcar Barrios, former portfolio manager and fund analyst at Tressis, left the firm in April this year. He moved to the financial advisory firm Wealth Solutions, where he is now responsible for the firm's investment area.
