Swiss fund market declines in May 2019

According to the statistics compiled by Swiss Fund Data AG and Morningstar for the month of May 2019, the volume of assets placed in the investment funds stood at CHF1,127.3bn. This corresponds to a month-on-month decrease of CHF 39.0bn or 3.5%. Net outflows totaled CHF 2.9bn. The volume of assets entrusted by investors in Switzerland to the fund industry came to CHF 1,127.3bn in May 2019 (April 2019: CHF 1,166.3bn).
