Deutsche Bank strengthens western Spanish arm

Deutsche Bank is bolstering its retail business in Spain with the appointment of Ignacio Pommarez as general deputy director and director of the offices' network of the western Spain area.

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the bank's network of regional offices from the western area, including Madrid, Andalusia, the Canary Islands, Castile y León, Castile-La Mancha, Extremadura, Galicia, Asturias, and Cantabria.

Pommarez joined Deutsche Bank two decades ago from Bankinter, where he worked during 10 years, being Corporate banking manager and businesses centre director in Seville and Huelva.

Deutsche Bank recently appointed María Enríquez as private banker to its wealth management team.
