London-based alternative investment specialist Trium Capital created Trium Ireland in Dublin. Subject to regulatory approval, the Irish office will serve to enhance Trium's distribution capabilities, create a platform for growth and safeguard clients, partners and investors against long-term political uncertainty.
As part of this expansion, Jamie Murphy has been hired as head of Risk at Trium Ireland.
Murphy joined the Irish office, led by Andrew Collins, in April to oversee risk and regulatory compliance, working closely with the wider team in London. He will also be the designated person for management functions under CBI Ucits and non-Ucits regulations.
He joins from KB Associates, bringing more than two decades of experience in product control, covering a wide range of financial instruments and structures. Previously, Murphy has also worked at JPMorgan, Citadel Investment Group and Northern Trust Hedge Fund Services.
Andrew Collins, head of Trium Ireland has now moved to the Dublin office. The company will continue to expand its staff as it bolsters operations in the capital over time.
