Three Ecofi investment funds have been awarded the French 'ISR' (SRI) label following a certification process overseen by consultant EY.
The funds are Ecofi Enjeux Futurs, Epargne Ethique Actions and Epargne Ethique Obligations.
France's SRI label was created and is supported by the Ministry of Finance, based on a decree and an order published in January 2016, which formalises the creation of the label and defined its terms of reference and audit procedures.
The label is intended to allow easy identification of responsible and sustainable investments.
Ecofi Enjeux Futurs is an international equity fund that invests in sustainable growth. It combines SRI management with six themes relating to the environment: energy efficiency; renewable energies; water and waste management; education and social services; inspection, control and certification of health services.
Epargne Ethique Actions is a socially responsible investment fund invested in eurozone equities, which applies a robust SRI approach.
Epargne Ethique Obligations is a bond market fund invested in private companies as well as responsible State entities, again with a robust SRI approach.
Ecofi Investissements, based in Paris, manages some €9bn in assets.
