Italian Summit Rome 2019 kicks off

Around 40 Italy-based fund selector delegates have gathered at the Aldrovandi Villa Borghese hotel in Rome to look at the investment trends and hottest topics for the fund selector industry at InvestmentEurope's Italian Summit Rome 2019.
The two day event counts on a batch of speakers from nine different asset management groups including UBS Asset Management (UBS AM), Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), RWC Partners, La Financière de l'Echiquier, Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, Principal Global Investors, Carmignac, Sycomore Asset Management, and 1167 Capital.
In addition to the nine presentations, the event also includes a panel discussion,joined by Filippo Stefanini, head Multimanager Investments & Unit Linked at Eurizon Capital SGR; Stefania Luzi, head of Economics and Finance area in Mefop (the company owned by Italy's Ministry of Economy and Finance); Roberto Violi, senior director of the Bank of Italy's Financial Markets and Payment Systems Department; and Orazio Di Miscia, head of asset allocation and portfolio management of liquid asset classes at Poste Vita.
Moderated by Sky Tg24's TV News Anchor Vittorio Eboli, the panel will address various hot topics for the asset management industry ranging from current regulatory changes affecting the institutional space to the challenge of finding alternatives at a time when yields on so-called safe assets such as government bonds is among the foremost areas of discussion.
