The InvestmentEurope Pan-European ESG Summit Zurich 2019, taking place on 13-14 June in the Swiss city, will open up debate on the path to ESG implementation as well as best practices that fund selectors may expect of providers as well as of themselves.
Among the financial professionals taking part in the discussions are:
Luis González, fund selector, BBVA Quality Funds
Mussie Kidane, head of Fund and Manager Selection, Banque Pictet & Cie
Patrick Lenhard, director, Multi Manager Solutions, Vontobel
Sven Rump, CIO, Schweizerische Mobiliar Asset Management
Tanja Wennonen-Kärnä, senior portfolio manager, Evli Bank.
Collectively, they will address areas such as: their own, respective, journeys towards ESG; considerations of the reality of ESG versus the 'noise' prevalent in the industry; how ESG developments may impact biases or preferences towards investment vehicle types and/or asset classes; the impact of data developments in ESG considerations; and what the future holds for fund selection activities as ESG is further embedded in processes.
