UBS AM and LGIM latest managers to join Italian Summit Rome 2019's batch of speakers

In the run-up to the Italian Summit Rome 2019, InvestmentEurope is pleased to announce a new pair of speakers.
UBS Asset Management (UBS AM) and Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) have been the latest asset management firms to join the batch of speakers coming from AM firms including RWC Partners, La Financière de l'Echiquier, Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, Principal Global Investors, Carmignac, Sycomore Asset Management, and 1167 Capital.
UBS Asset Management's client relationship manager Federico Verdirrame will outline the company's approach to fixed income investing by presenting UBS AM'sglobal total return strategy designed to generate returns in different market environments through a well-diversified portfolio of government, corporate and convertible bonds with an average investment grade rating.
Uday Patnaik, head of emerging market debt, Active Fixed Income at Legal & General Investment Management, will address emerging market bonds with the aim to de-mystify this asset class, discussing the firm's investing philosophy in EM, and its framework for achieving enhanced yield with superior volatility adjusted performance.
The Summit,taking place on the 6 and 7 of June at the Aldrovandi Villa Borghese Hotel in Rome, counts with the CFA Society Italy as its main educational partner.
A panel discussion is also included on the event's programme, moderated by Sky Tg24's TV News Anchor Vittorio Eboli, and joined by Filippo Stefanini, head Multimanager Investments & Unit Linked at Eurizon Capital SGR; Stefania Luzi, head of Economics and Finance area in Mefop (the company owned by Italy's Ministry of Economy and Finance); and Roberto Violi, senior director of the Bank of Italy's Financial Markets and Payment Systems Department.
