Following the successful launch of Investment Europe's ESG roundtable in 2018 and increased level of interest received from our community of fund buyers, we are delighted to launch the Pan-European ESG Summit Zurich.
To be held on 13-14 June at the Dolder Grand in Zurich, the summit will be treating an audience of around 40 fund selectors from across Europe to a wide range of ESG topics and trends that are currently relevant for the industry.
The summit will facilitate high-level engagement with asset owners, allocators and leading asset managers with committed track records in sustainable and responsible investing.
Philipp Aeby, CEO at RepRisk will discuss how ESG data science transforms investment strategy. He will outline how machine learning combined with human analysis can be used to meet investor's needs. He will talk about how RepRisk applies artificial intelligence on labelled datasets to differentiate its risk-focused ESG data and provide customised quantitative solutions for asset managers.
Jonathan Boyd, editorial director of InvestmentEurope will be moderating the panel discussion, in which Sven Rump, CIO, Schweizerische Mobiliar Asset Management and Mussie Kidane, head of Fund and Manager Selection, Banque Pictet & Cie will provide insight into their how their investment approach incorporates ESG, the adoption of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the investment strategy, how impact is traced and measured, and how fiduciary responsibilities are undertaken via stewardship, engagement and voting.
The fund selector panel, moderated by Jonathan Boyd, in which Luis González, Fund Selector, BBVA Quality Funds and Patrick Lenhard, Director, Multi Manager Solutions, Vontobel will discuss discuss how mandates are changing in response to the growing demand for exposure to ESG orientated investment vehicles.
The future of sustainability will be addressed by Phil Davis, assistant director, Sustainability & Climate Change at PwC.
