BNPP AM names global head of investments

BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has appointed Rob Gambi as global head of investments.
Gambi, to be based in London, will report to Frédéric Janbon, CEO, and will be a member of BNPP AM's executive committee.
As global head of investments, he will be responsible for the management and performance of all of BNPP AM's investment teams across asset classes and locations. He will oversee all investment management activities including performance, process and research, as well as the implementation of BNPP AM's Global Sustainability Strategy, announced earlier this year, across the investment platform. He will also work closely with the Global Client Group and Product & Strategic Marketing teams to ensure the optimum product range and enhance BNPP AM's client-focused investment culture.
With over 30 years' asset management experience, Gambi most recently was CIO of Henderson Global Investors. Prior to this, he was global head of Fixed Income at UBS Global Asset Management.
Frédéric Janbon, CEO of BNP Paribas Asset Management, said: "Gambi's career at a number of leading global asset managers means that he brings extensive industry experience to the role of global head of investments. He will be instrumental in enhancing our investment platform, including overseeing the integration of our Global Sustainability Strategy, in support of our goal of delivering long-term sustainable returns for our clients."
