Swedish Investment Fund Association appoints new chairman

Carl Cederschiöld, CEO of Handelsbanken Fonder, has been elected chairman of the Swedish Investment Fund Association (Fondbolagens förening).

Previously, he was deputy chairman from 2016, with the Association particularly highlighting his work in sustainability questions, including on questions of industry standards of sustainability.

"In the sustainability area, I see it as the Association's most important task to ensure that information to savers and investors facilitates comparisons and and is as simple as possible," Cederschiöld said, noting that the Association has an important roles in strengthening trust in saving through funds, and contributing solutions to savings requirements in society.

Others elected to the board include Liza Jonson, CEO of Swedbank Robur, who has been elected vice chairman, and Javiera Ragnartz, CEO of SEB Investment Management, who has been elected as a board member.

Board constituent now constitute the following:

Chairman: Carl Cederschiöld, Handelsbanken Fonder (newly elected)

Vice chairman: Liza Jonson, Swedbank Robur (newly elected)
