HSBC Germany appoints head of Securities Services

HSBC Germany has named Gerald Noltsch as head of Securities Services. He will be responsible in his position for the German and Austrian market.

Noltsch, who was chief executive at BNP Paribas Securities Services, will take over the position in early May from Gina Slotosch, former head of Securities Services division in Germany. 

In the future, Slotosch will play the role of global head of Business & Commercial Management for the Asset Managers & Owners segment of the HSBC Group in London.

Noltsch has more than 20 years of senior management experience in the European financial industry. He has worked for the BNP Paribas Group since 1998. Since 2000 he has headed BNP Securities Services Germany. He was thus responsible for positioning the German securities custody business of BNP Paribas. He also served as regional director of the Securities Services business in Germany, the Netherlands and Nordics. Since 2013, he has held the position of member of the Management Board Germany of the BNP Paribas Group. Noltsch began his career at Deutsche Bank, and Clearstream Banking is also one of his professional stations.
