Madrid-headquartered private investment management team Gala Capital has appointed Javier Martín as head of equity investments, Spanish site RankiaPro reported.
Martín joins Gala Capital from Metagestión, where he worked as an equity analyst for six months departing earlier this year.
Before his time at Metagestión, Martín held various roles at different companies including BlueMar Capital Management, where he worked as an equity senior analyst. Prior to that, he worked as a financial analyst at A&G Funds. He started his career at the Spanish law firm Cuatrecasas, first at the firm's banking and insurance department and later at its M&A unit.
Gala Capital took control over Beka Finance earlier this month after acquiring another 45% of the entity from GVC Gaesco for an undisclosed amount.
