Turin-headquartered ViViBanca is entering the German market through a partnership with the online-financial platform for savings and investment products Raisin.
The deal will enable the Italian bank to make its high-yield deposit account available to German retail investors.
ViViBanca's CEO Germano Turinetto, said: "This is an important opportunity that allows us to reach a new base of savers in Germany, with the aim of further diversifying the sources of our collection.
"The agreement with Raisin will allow us to achieve our growth targets, which in 2019 are expected to reach € 230m in direct deposits, of which € 160m would be generated through the online channel."
ViViBanca operates as an independent financial institution that specialises in salary and pension backed loans, and personal loans. It also offers banking services, such as time deposits and current accounts.
