RobecoSAM, the investment specialist that has focused exclusively on sustainability investing for over 23 years, announced that Daniel Wild and Marius Dorfmeister, Co-CEOs of RobecoSAM AG, have decided to leave the firm to take on new roles.
Daniel Wild will join Credit Suisse as managing director and global head Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Strategy. With Wild's appointment Credit Suisse expands its Impact Advisory & Finance Department (IAF).
Wild will be responsible for the development of ESG products and services, the evolution of Credit Suisse's ESG concept, and the global integration of ESG aspects in the Bank's divisions.
Thanks to his expertise in product development, research and quantitative By providing analysis, the group will be able to meet the ever-increasing demand from clients in wealth management, investment banking and asset management. His extensive knowledge of current regulatory developments in the area of ESG will ensure the implementation of best practices in the advisory and investment solutions of the Credit Securities.
Wild has spent more than 12 years at RobecoSAM, where he has been a co-CEO since 2018 and the same time he also held the role of head of Sustainability and Impact for the parent company Robeco. He also held various roles within RobecoSAM, including head of Research and Development and head of Industrials. Previously, he worked for two years in the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs and before that, he was head of the Environmental Technology Business Unit at Ernst Basler & Partners AG.
The Board of Directors of RobecoSAM is currently working on a plan regarding the succession of Wild and Dorfmeister. The Board will present a succession plan to the Swiss regulator, FINMA, in due course. Once approved, RobecoSAM will inform its stakeholders accordingly.
