Candriam has made available to investors in Spain its training academy on the topic of ethical investing.
The Candriam Academy aims to raise awareness, promote education and improve knowledge of financial intermediaries on Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) via an innovative online platform of content and materials.
The Academy provides different modules as an in-depth introduction to SRI, and at the end of each module, a minimum score of 8/10 is required to complete the course and receive a certificate.
Elena Guanter Ros, head of Client Relations Iberia and head of Development LatAm, says: "Economic agents play a key role in the development of a sustainable and responsible economy. At Candriam, we take this responsibility very seriously, since we believe in the importance of promoting responsible and ethical investing. We also think that the Candriam Academy will allow us to increase the awareness while improving actions within the financial sector."
The Academy, which has already received accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI), EFPA Italia and EFPA Spain, is currently available in English, Italian, German and Spanish and will be soon in French and Dutch. Candriam highlights that although the platform has been conceived with the needs of intermediaries in mind, it is free and open to all.
