Carmignac has appointed Marie-Anne Allier as co-fund manager of European bond funds Carmignac Sécurité and Carmignac Portfolio Sécurité, effective 29 April 2019.
Based in Paris, Allier will report to Rose Ouahba, head of Fixed Income. She will work alongside Keith Ney, who has managed Carmignac Sécurité since 2013 and co-manages Carmignac Portfolio Patrimoine Europe with Mark Denham, Head of European Equities.
Allier brings extensive European fixed income aggregate fund management experience with an active investment style to Carmignac's strong fixed income team. She joins Carmignac from Amundi, where she was head of Euro Fixed Income management since 2010. Over a thirty-year career, Allier also held senior fixed income management roles at SG Asset Management and GTI Finance. She began her career as a fixed income manager at Sogeposte.
Carmignac Sécurité is one of Carmignac's largest (€11.86bn in Assets Under Management as of 29 March 2019) and most long-standing funds, forming a key element of Carmignac's fixed income offering since the company was founded in 1989.
