A&G Private Banking has launched a institutional business development unit to be led by José María Úbeda.
Úbeda, who joined the firm as private banker in Madrid last November, has been appointed as director of Institutional Business Development. Reporting to the firm's Services and Products director Rafael Soldevilla, he will be responsible for promoting the services and products of the Group's private banking business to institutional clients.
Before joining A&G in November 2018, Úbeda worked at SegurCaixa Adeslas since 2006. He previously worked at GESTIOHNA Diseño Patrimonial, where he was the CIO, and at ING Lease as analyst. He started his career as S&P Broker at Medco Shipbrokers in 1997.

A&G had over €10bn in assets under management as of the end of 2018. The firm has 182 employees and 72 private bankers in Spain, spread across the firm's offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Santander, Seville, Valladolid, Valencia and Luxembourg.
