AXA IM appoints head of Research

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has appointed Laurent Clavel as head of Research, effective immediately. He was head of Macroeconomic Research prior to the appointment. Based in Paris, Clavel will lead the Research team, comprising of euro credit analysts and macroeconomists. This team develops fundamental research activities, new investment insights and thought leadership, as well as help drive the implementation of research views in AXA IM's investment processes. He will report to Gilles Moëc, who will become chief economist of the AXA Group on 3 June 2019.
