AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has named Xavier Lattaignant as its director of the convertible bond strategy.
Lattaignant, who has over 20 years of investment experience, will manage the AXA WF Framlington Global Convertibles fund from today, along with Alexandre Fade.
Based in Paris, Lattaignant will report to Matthew Lovatt, global head of Framlington Equities. He has served as both an analyst and fund manager for long-term debt, alternative investments and hedge fund strategies. He joins AXA IM from SCOR Investment Partners. He has served as head of Convertible Bonds at his previous employer since 2011.
AXA IM has been investing in convertibles for 20 years, focusing on robust investment and portfolio construction processes. Lattaignant and the convertible bond team will continue the special approach of AXA IM, which relies heavily on the expertise of the European and global equity teams in Paris and London, as well as the credit and investment analysis teams of the Involves asset managers.
