Laura Cohen, global equity strategist at Fiera Capital, will outline how investors can seek to avoid excessive focus on quarterly reports of companies in the global and US equity space, when she presents at the upcoming Nordic Summit Stockholm 2019, taking place 12-13 March at the Grand Hotel in the Swedish capital.
She will explain how Fiera Capital's Global/US Equity team implements a philosophy of finding quality businesses at attractive prices, and which can be held for a decade or longer. The team manages over $22bn in global, US and international equity. Fiera Capital launched Ucits funds in early 2018 that use global and US equity strategies launched in 2009.
Cohen joined Fiera Capital in 2015 and is the Global/US Equity specialist. She works with both the Global Equity team and client servicing groups, serving as the link between the investment team and account managers. Prior to this role, she was a senior analyst, Institutional Markets at Fiera Capital. Before joining Fiera Capital, she worked at consultant firms, both on the retirement and investment consultant side. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Concordia University and has been a CFA charterholder since 2014.
