BayernInvest is now offering ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) reporting to its existing and new customers for all managed and managed special AIFs and mutual funds at no additional cost.
Growing ESG investments require innovative and comprehensive ESG reporting. It complements traditional financial reporting and transparently demonstrates how portfolios impact environmental, social and governance considerations. An indispensable tool for forward-looking investors.
Michael Braun, managing director of BayernInvest said: "The consideration of sustainability aspects in capital investment follows a clear economic ratio: For long-term oriented investors, there are demonstrably better risk-return profiles. Our new reporting shows in detail the ESG footprint of a portfolio. It is the basis for analysing the future opportunities and risks of our customers' investments."
BayernInvest's share and bond performance reporting is based on extensive data from MSCI ESG Research. Another cooperation partner is yourSRI, which professionally processes the data graphically. With its ESG reporting, BayernInvest offers its customers the possibility of integrating sustainable criteria throughout the entire value chain - in asset management, administration and reporting.
The ESG reporting shows the sustainability quality of a portfolio with a scoring model on a scale of 0 to 10. This ESG score is compared to a peer group and an investment universe. Visible at a glance are the overall portfolio rating as well as the respective positive and negative contribution of equities and bonds to the overall rating. In addition, controversial business areas and practices as well as violations of the UN Global Compact principles are listed. Issuers with the best and worst ESG scores are shown individually. Particularly interesting for investors is the "Sustainable Impact", which shows the impact of investments on the environment and society.
