Withers
Withers, the international law firm, has hired noted reputation and privacy lawyer Jo Sanders as the head of its London media and reputation team. Sanders joins from Harbottle & Lewis.
She has worked in media law for 15 years, and was previously a journalist and public relations consultant. Jo has acted for businesses and individuals in relation to press, broadcast and online content and advised dozens of victims of the phone hacking scandal.
Schroders
Schroders has hired Stephanie Chang in the newly-created role of ESG integration specialist, to help better embed sustainability across the group's investment teams.
Chang joins from PwC, where she spent five years as an assistant director for sustainability and climate change, looking at the impacts of climate change for financial services and helping clients to develop risk management frameworks to respond to the low carbon transition.
Lombard Odier
Lombard Odier has announced that Alexandre Zeller as been named managing partner, based in Geneva.
In this position he will assume the functional responsibility for the Technology and Operations Unit at Group level. In this capacity, he will be in charge of innovation and new technologies at the service of customers, as well as for digitalisation projects.
BMO REP
BMO Real Estate Partners (REP) has appointed Emma Gullifer as assistant fund manager within its UK property fund team.
Gullifer will be based in London in her new role with BMO REP, which is a part of BMO Financial Group's global asset management business (BMO GAM), and be responsible for the management and review of new acquisitions of the flagship £550m BMO UK Property fund. She will report to lead manager Guy Glover.
AXA IM
AXA Investment Managers has hired Xavier Lattaignant as head of the convertible bonds strategy from SCOR Investment Partners.
Along with leading the convertible bonds strategy, Lattaignant will also co-manage the €926m AXA World Funds Framlington Global Convertibles fund with Alexandre Fade. Effective 4 March, he will report to Matthew Lovatt, global head of Framlington equities at AXA IM.
Quilter
Quilter Investors has announced plans to launch a multi-asset income range for Helen Bradshaw, who joins the firm from Janus Henderson Investors.
Bradshaw will lead the development of the new portfolio range, which is set to launch later this year. The group expects to initially launch two risk-targeted multi-asset portfolios in summer 2019, designed to employ a diverse investment toolkit.
Integritas
Integritas Wealth Partners have appointed wealth manager Paul Alker as Senior Wealth Partner.
Alker currently sits on the Personal Finance Society Jersey Regional Officers committee as Education Officer. He has held various senior positions at financial institutions including global banks, independent financial advisers and wealth managers.
Highvern
Jersey-based Highvern Trustees has appointed a new client manager in its family office. Richard Goodridge is specialised in real estate and investment.
Naomi Rive, group director and head of family office at Highvern, said: "Richard has a natural aptitude for working with these clients and both his investment and real estate experience means that he can add real value to the families that he works with."
Morgan Lewis
Morgan Lewis, the global law firm, has announced the appointment of corporate lawyer Vanessa Ng as a partner of Morgan Lewis & Bockius and a director of Morgan Lewis Stamford, its Singapore office, the firm said in a statement.
Ng, who practiced at Stamford Law Corporation as a senior associate earlier in her career, arrives from another Singapore law firm. She joins with corporate associate Ee Vin Wong.
