Jens Hansen, head of Investments and portfolio manager at Macquarie Asset Management, will outline his thoughts on global equity, when he attends the upcoming Nordic Summit Stockholm 2019, taking place 12-13 March at the Grand Hotel.
Following a period of significant global equity returns, the question facing investors is where might markets head hereafter: Hansen will discuss how Macquarie's ValueInvest Global Equity strategy applies a long only approach to deal with all market conditions. The 20-year strategy has been through cycles before, and Hansen will explain how this can be managed through a bottom up stockpicking approach.
Hansen has been with Macquarie since 2018, when it acquired ValueInvest Asset Management, where he had been since 2001.
A graduate of the Aarhus School of Business, he started his career with Spar Nord Bank in 1982 where he worked as an analyst and trader of bonds, equities and derivatives. In 1994 he joined Nykredit Bank where he worked as a bond trader.
