German private bank strengthens board for further growth

Bethmann Bank is expanding its executive board, with the appointment of Nicolas von Loeper, effective 1 April 2019. The appointment is subject to the approval of the supervisory authorities.

Von Loeper will join the board of directors and will be responsible for the management and acquisition of wealthy clients as a private client director and chief commercial officer.

He joins from a single family office, where he has been managing director for an internationally operating entrepreneurial family for three years.

From 2000 to 2012, he held various positions at Deutsche Bank, including as managing director of Private Wealth Management in the Dusseldorf and Cologne regions. From 2013, he was responsible for the management of private and institutional clients on the board of the private bank Sal. Oppenheim.
