St James's Place has named Emma Hunt as head of responsible investing in a bid to expand its responsible investment offering.

Prior to joining SJP, Hunt  worked at Mercer, Towers Watson and Hermes, focusing on responsible Investing.

MetLife
MetLife has appointed Richard Nunn as its new chief executive officer in Australia, effective 1 May 2019.

Nunn is currently the CEO of Statewide Super, a superannuation fund based in South Australia and one of MetLife Australia's longest standing clients. He brings over 30 years' financial services experience across wealth management -including life insurance and retail advice - and banking in Australia and Asia more broadly.

Carey Olsen
Carey Olsen, the offshore law firm,  has announced that Bermudian Sam Stevens, an international arbitration specialist, is to return to Bermuda and will join its dispute resolution practice as counsel.

He joins Carey Olsen Bermuda after more than six years at DLA Piper where he practised in both its Dubai and Singapore offices. Prior to DLA he worked at international law firms Norton Rose Fulbright in London and Clyde & Co in Dubai.

Credit Suisse
Credit Suisse has named Eric Winarta head of Indonesia Coverage in in the Swiss bank's Asia Pacific Investment Banking & Capital Markets division.

Winarta brings  19 years of investment banking experience to Credit Suisse, in both Jakarta and Singapore, with an established track record in developing client relationships and leading origination and execution of M&A and capital markets transactions.

Indosuez
Indosuez Wealth Management's global chief investment officer, Frédéric Lamotte, has been named chief executive of the group's Miami wealth division and global head of Americas.

Lamotte relocated from Geneva to Miami to take on the role at the beginning of 2019.

Amundi
Amundi Asset Management Australia boss has departed following a restructure that will shift the business' sales and client servicing functions to a local distributor.

Brian Scott was the chief executive of Amundi Asset Management Australia for eight years until December 2018.

BNP Paribas
BNP Paribas Wealth Management has hired David Lim  as its new co-head for Southeast Asia based in Singapore.

Lim joins from Credit Suisse Private Banking, where he was vice chairman for Southeast Asia for seven months. Prior to that, he spent 11 years at Julius Baer, holding various senior positions including vice chairman for Southeast Asia, head of private banking for Southeast Asia and Singapore CEO.

BlackRock
BlackRock has appointed a new head of investment stewardship for Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong.

Amar Gill has joined the $5.98trn asset manager to succeed Pru Bennett who will retire at the end of January.
