Mercer Investments has appointed Jorge Bernaldo de Quirós as head of delegated solutions to its wealth unit joining the team led by the firm's partner Cristina San Juan.
Bernaldo de Quirós joins Mercer Investments from Bankia Asset Management, where he worked for 12 years, first as an absolute return and emerging markets fund portfolio, and later as head of retirement funds, responsible for the asset allocation within the pension funds team and for the management of the firm's Retirement Funds. Prior to that, he worked for the Spanish insurer Pelayo, and previously as a credit risk analyst at ABN AMRO Bank.
