Eight Investment Partners (8IP) has entered a strategic support agreement with Sanlam Private Wealth to provide middle office services in Australia. Sanlam Private Wealth, part of Sanlam UK, has recently acquired 40% of 8IP. The head of the Australian-based company, Jonathan Sweeney, said Sanlam's arrival will no impact the investment team or strategy. 8IP was founded by Kerry Series who was previously AMP Capital's head of Asia Pacific equities.
