Bankinter makes string of senior appointments

Spain's Bankinter has made a senior appointment reshuffle to its private banking division.

Marta Centeno, director of the bank's private banking division for the past three years, has been appointed to the role of director of the Markets and Products unit from January. She will report directly to Bankinter's CEO María Dolores Dancausa, according to the Spanish daily El Independiente.

Following the move, Yolanda Cerrato, to the date commercial director of the bank's private banking division, will be succeeding Centeno and reporting to the general director of the commercial banking division.

Cerrato joined Bankinter 15 years ago, having held a wide range of senior positions including that of private banking director for the firm's unit in Bilbao and commercial director of private banking in Madrid. Prior to her time at Bankinter, Cerrato worked as consultant at Accenture.
