The Spanish subsidiary of Robeco has promoted Ana Claver as the new responsible for the firm's in Spain and Chile, Funds People has revealed.
Claver, to the date sales director for the firm's business in the countries mentioned above, succeeds Javier García de Vinuesa, who takes on the role of wholesale and global financial institutions maximum responsible for the US Offshore, LatAm and EMEA markets.
García de Vinuesa was previosly Robeco's CEO for Southern Europe, LatAm, and US Offshore. He started his career working at the products development department of Santander Investments. He later moved for Merrill Lynch and Lyxor - SocGen, before joining Robeco in 2003.
Ana Claver has formed part of Robeco's sales in Spain and Chile since 2006. She joined the firm from Morgan Stanley, where she worked at private banking. She has formerly worked at Venture Consulting and UBS, where she started her career in 2002 in London.
