UBS Asset Management has accelerated its effort to become a major player in China's domestic investment market with the appointment of Raymond Yin as head of China onshore.
He will oversee the further build-out of the bank's onshore wholly foreign-owned enterprises and its joint venture with State Development Investment Corporation (SDIC). Yin has 26 years of financial services experience working in Shanghai, Hong Kong and New York. He was most recently partner and head of the international division for Shanghai Chongyang Investment Management and chief executive of Chongyang International Asset Management.

UBS AM was this year named the top foreign asset management firm in China by Z-Ben Advisors and the Best Fund Provider - China A-Share Equity in Asian Private Banker's Asset Management Awards for Excellence 2018.
