Swiss asset manager GAM has appointed Damien Armand as client director for Belgium and Luxembourg, French site NewsManagers has revealed.
Armand joins GAM from the French Group Financière de l'Arc, where he worked as a fund analyst for the past three years. At this company, he was responsible for picking funds for Arc Patrimoine, a diversified fund, and for life insurance funds of funds. Financière de l'Arc is a human-sized company based in the French region Aix-en- Provence.
Prior to that, Armand worked as a fund specialist at BNP Paribas Wealth Management for around two years. Previously, he worked in various companies including Lyxor Asset Management, SPGP and Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking.
