Green Ash Partners, a London-based liquid credit boutique which is part of Woodman Group has announced the launch of a new Ucits compliant global high yield fund/
The Green Ash Global High Yield fund will be managed by the group’s managing partners and co-CIO’s – Miles Cohen and Nick Freeman. It invests in global high yield securities with a flexible allocation approach and a bottom-up credit selection process.
The fund’s strategy is based upon a similar already existing mandate. But unlike its predecessor, it focuses on more concentrated positions with typically 50-100 holdings, invested across developed market high yield as well as additional allocations to both hard currency emerging markets and subordinated bank debt.
It is currently registered for sale in Luxembourg but the group aims to expand availability to the UK and Switzerland in the near future.
Green Ash entered into a strategic partnership with Swiss firm Woodman earlier this year with the London boutique covering Woodman’s liquid credit offering to clients. Prior to founding Green Ash, Cohen and Freeman worked together at Goldman Sachs International where they were managing global credit and multi-asset class mandates for clients in the EMEA region.
