Italy’s Eurovita has signed a ten-year agreement with Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano (Sparkasse) for the distribution of its insurance products.
Sparkasse is one of the most important independent savings banks in Italy offering financial services to individuals and companies through a network of over 100 branches throughout the north-east and Munich, where over 1,200 employees work, Eurovita says.
The partnership, to be made effective in 2019, will enable Eurovita to further strengthen its presence in the bancassurance network as well as helping Sparkasse to increase its insurance products offer.
Erik Stattin, Eurovita’s CEO said: “This exclusive partnership with Sparkasse strengthens our position on the national market and as well as the value of our strategy based on tailor-made solutions for our partners, able to satisfy the needs of our customers, enhancing their prospects for investment, savings, social security and protection “.
Eurovita had previously signed a distribution agreement with Cassa di Risparmio di Volterra (CR Volterra) for the distribution of its insurance products in November.
The company was born in 2018 from the merger of Eurovita Assicurazioni, Old Mutual Wealth Italy and ERGO Previdenza.
