Switzerland based Seba Crypto AG has announced details of its governing board of directors.

The newly-created bank’s board consists of Andreas Amschwand as chairman, who played a vital role in the transformation of the global FX market and recently acted as a board member for Julius Baer Group and Reto Kunz, chief risk officer and senior advisor at EFG Bank. Other Seba directors are Sébastian Mérillat, Guy Schwarzenbach and Urs Zulauf.

Seba Crypto AG will be led by Guido Buhler, CEO.

SEBA has already privately raised CHF100m to ignite its ambition to redefine finance for the new economy through the building of a gateway that will facilitate regulated and supervised movement of assets between traditional and crypto markets for major financial investors.

Seba is in contact with Finma for the application of a Swiss Banking and Securities Dealer license, which, if granted, would allow it to offer a comprehensive range of banking services to institutional, corporate and individual clients.
