Schroders has announced the launch of the Schroder GAIA Helix fund, which is intended to access multiple alpha generating strategies for those seeking access to liquid multi-strategy alternative funds and low market correlation.

The Helix fund will be available on the Schroder GAIA platform, and will mainly comprise long/short and long only equity strategies that offer daily dealing within Ucits requirements.

The fund will access strategies across asset classes including credit, fixed income and FX.

Manager of the fund will be Robert Donald, CIO for Helix. He joined Schroders in January 2017 from Brummer & Partners. He has also worked at Soros and GLG Partners, where he co-managed its multimanager Eruopean Long/Short fund.
