Asset Manager StarCapital has appointed Florian Mende as head of Wholesale Sales. He will expand the business in Germany.
Mende previously worked at the Fürstlich Castell’schen Bank, where he has been responsible for wholesale and institutional sales in northern Germany since 2014 as department manager and team leader for third party sales. Before that, he had worked at Bankhaus Metzler.
In addition, StarCapital strengthened its bond team. From January 2019 Klaus Spöri will take over the management of the fund StarCapital Bondvalue UI. He previously worked for Oddo BHF Asset Management. Since 2013, he has advised mutual funds with a total-return approach and various special funds with a focus on corporate and government bonds.
