Vanguard has appointed Chris Hofmann as senior ETF sales specialist for the German and Austrian market. In her new position, Hofmann will expand Vanguard’s distribution network in the local market.
Hofmann brings about twelve years of professional experience gained on both the dealer and the issuer side. Prior to joining Vanguard, she held the position of senior sales manager at BNP Paribas Asset Management, where she was co-responsible for ETFs and index solutions for the German-speaking market.
Between 2015 and 2017 she was part of the Equity & Debt Advisory team at Unicredit in Wealth Management as family office advisor. There she managed family offices and wealthy individuals with regard to their ETF allocations. Previously, Hofmann headed Unicredit’s ETF Sales & Advisory team. She started her career in Sales & Marketing at Lyxor Asset Management.
