Dunas Capital names institutional sales director for Iberia

Iberian asset manager Dunas Capital has appointed Borja Fernández-Galiano as institutional sales director in a move aimed at strengthening the firm’s sales capabilities.

Fernández-Galiano will be responsible for the distribution of a range of investment products including investment funds, pension schemes, private equity, and alternatives assets. He will also contribute to the creation and development of the firm’s business strategy in Spain.

With some 20 years’ experience in the financial sector, he has worked mainly for the asset management industry at the sales and business development departments of various global managers including Schroders, Pioneer Global Investments, Banque Syz & Co, Lazard Wealth Management and Carmignac Gestion.

David Angulo, Dunas Capital chairman, said : « Borja’s wide experience and knowledge of the industry at a domestic and global levels will allow us to bolster our sales strategy with a focus on innovation.”
