Jupiter Asset Management has registered in Italy its Eurozone Equity fund one month after it was launched.

Jupiter Eurozone Equity, unveiled last month, is a sub-fund of Jupiter Global fund Sicav that aims to achieve long-term capital growth with an horizon of three to five years.

It will be a benchmark-independent concentrated portfolio of around 40-50 stocks. It is managed by Cédric de Fonclare alongside Greg Herbert and at least 70% of its assets will be invested in companies whose headquarters are based in the eurozone or do most of their business activities in this area.

Cédric de Fonclare joined Jupiter in 1999 and is currently head of Strategy, European Opportunities. He manages the Jupiter European Opportunities Sicav alongside Greg Herbert, who works in the same team since 2007.

Andrea Boggio, Jupiter’s Italy country head, said: “At Jupiter we are constantly looking to expand our product range by offering investment solutions capable to meet our customers’ demands. In the current environment, investors are increasingly looking for products able to offer them a wide range of investment opportunities across Europe, albeit with limited exposure to currency risk, particularly to the sterling. This fund was designed to respond this need.”
