Indosuez WM names head for Arabian Gulf push

Indosuez Wealth Management, global wealth management branch of Crédit Agricole Group, has appointed Haidar Hammoud as market manager for the Arabia Gulf, at CA Indosuez (Switzerland) SA.

Based in Geneva, he will be in responsible for developing the Arabian Gulf business in coordination with all teams and in line with the global commercial strategy for the region.

Hammoud also joins the Middle East management committee and reports directly to François R. Farjallah, global head of the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region for Indosuez Wealth Management.

François R. Farjallah commented: “Hammoud’s expertise will allow us to further develop our wealth management services for clients in the Arabian Gulf, as this market offers a high growth opportunity given the positive wealth creation seen amongst HNWIs and UHNWIs. We are looking to actively expand our already well-established client base within these two segments. Attracting top talent confirms the relevance of our development model in the region.”

Hammoud began his career with BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking in Paris before moving to UAE where he held various roles with Standard Chartered Wholesale Bank, Citi Private Bank, Deutsche Bank Wealth Management and Asset Management. Prior to joining Indosuez, he was managing director and head of UAE & Oman for Barclays Private Bank since 2013. He also served as member of the MEA committee and managed Ultra High Net Worth clients.
