Vontobel appoints head of PB in Geneva

Vontobel Wealth Management has appointed Stefano Retti as new head of Private Banking in Geneva.

With the successful completion of the integration of Notenstein La Roche and the appointment of the new head of wealthy private clients in Geneva, Vontobel is strengthening its presence in western Switzerland and continuing its growth course.

From 1 February 2019, Stefano Retti will take over the management of Vontobel Wealth Management in Geneva, where wealthy private clients in Western Switzerland, Europe and the Middle East will be advised.

Retti will support Christoph Gloor, head of Western Switzerland and deputy head of Vontobel Wealth Management, and will strengthen the management of Vontobel Wealth Management.

Most recently, Retti was responsible for the development of the onshore market of Société Générale in Geneva. Prior to that, he was managing director of Geneva branch of private bank CIC, where he helped to reposition them on the Swiss market.
