EdRAM strengthens investment management team

Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (EdRAM) has appointed Kris Deblander as CIO Equities and Corporate Debts. He has been in the company since 2008 as deputy CIO Equities and Corporate Debts.
Deblander reports to Philippe Uzan, chief investment officer. He joined the Edmond de Rothschild Fund Income Europe team last year and will now be its lead manager.
The transition will respect continuity as the fund has had a collegial and transverse structure since launch.
Following Pierre Nebout’s departure, Marc Halperin has been appointed co-head of European Equities alongside Philippe Lecoq. He will now be the lead manager of Edmond de Rothschild Tricolore Rendement alongside François Breton and Ariane Hayate who have both been with the Group for more than 10 years.
Halperin joined Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (France) in July 2009 as a European equity fund manager/analyst. He has played a key role for more than 10 years in our European equity team and a pivotal role in managing the EdR Fund Equity Euro Core and Euro Sustainable Growth funds. In 2001, he joined France’s Mandatory Insurance Guarantee Fund (Fonds de Garantie des Assurances Obligatoires) as a proprietary equity fund manager before being promoted to Head of Equities in 2004.
Jacques-Aurélien Marcireau has been appointed co-head of International Equities alongside Christophe Foliot. He has also been appointed deputy CIO Equities with a transversal brief on innovation.
Marcireau joined the international equities team at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (France) in 2009 as a fund manager/analyst. His big data expertise has helped Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management (France) rank as a pioneer in the investment theme. He is lead manager of Edmond de Rothschild Fund Big Data.
Halperin and Marcireau will report to Kris Deblander, CIO Equities and Corporate Debts at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management.
