Jupiter Asset Management has launched Eurozone Equity Sicav fund. It is a sub-fund of Jupiter Global fund Sicav and its investment objective is to achieve long-term capital growth.

It will be a benchmark-independent, concentrated portfolio of around 40-50 stocks sought. Fund manager Cédric de Fonclare and co-fund manager Greg Herbert will manage the fund. At least 70% of the assets will be invested in companies whose headquarters are in the Eurozone or in the region doing most of their business.

Cédric de Fonclare joined Jupiter in 1999 and is currently head of Strategy, European Opportunities. He manages the Jupiter European Opportunities Sicav in close Collaboration with Greg Herbert, who works since 2007 in the same name team.

Andrej Brodnik, head of Continental European Sales, said: “In the current market environment, investors are more and more on the search for products that have access to a wide range of opportunities in Europe. The currency risks should be limited, especially in relation to the British pound. Because Britain is strongly represented in many pan-European Indexes. The new portfolio has been designed to help this growing demand.”
