Cyrille Carrière (pictured) has been named deputy head of Equities and Convertibles Management of Groupama Asset Management, the investment arm of French insurer Groupama.
He will be reporting to Pierre-Alexis Dumont, head of Equities and Convertibles Management.
Groupama said this appointment aims to develop the manager’s expertise on stock-picking.
Since 2012, Carrière manages the firm’s small and mid-caps strategies, Groupama Avenir Euro and G Fund European Small and Mid Cap.
Formerly, he has been managing European equity funds at Barclays and has been a financial analyst with Rothschild.
