Andbank Spain has promoted José de Alarcón to commercial director and member of the entity’s Managing Committee.
De Alarcón (pictured) will be responsible for leading the bank’s commercial strategy within the bankers commercial network, agents and Spanish IFAs (EAFIs), as well as for coordinating and enhancing the customer service policies.
With 20 years’ financial experience, De Alarcón joined Andbank in 2012 as general director of Medpatrimonia – Andbank and Doctors Association of Barcelona joint venture – where he launched a service focused on the medical collective currently managing €250m.
Prior to that, De Alarcón led various projects related to strategic consultancy at companies including PwC, The Boston Consultancy Group and Accenture.
Carlos Aso, CEO of Andbank Spain, said: “ Alarcón will play a key role in the growth and consolidation the bank has been achieving over the past years, which standed at 20% in 2017, above the average of the banking private sector in Spain.”
