Paris-based Swiss Life Banque Privée, French subsidiary of insurer Swiss Life, has appointed Eric Bleines as head of Equities within its asset management business, Swiss Life Gestion Privée.
He will help developing the equity fund management activity and will manage three of the firm’s flagship equity funds : Valfrance, Valeurope and SL World 2020.
The ValFrance fund, focused on French equities and managed by Christian Cambier since 33 years, has been handed to Eric Bleines on 1 March 2017.
Most recently, Bleines has overseen fund management activities of UBS Asset Management France. He has also been co-head of Equities at CCR AM before the firm was acquired by UBS.
Bleines has held a number of equity portfolio manager roles in various companies including CCF, Indosuez AM, Credit Agricole.
He started his career in 1986 at French broker Meeschaert-Rousselle.
