British asset manager Schroders has appointed Gregor Wolters within its German institutional sales team located in Frankfurt.
He will focus on developing and marketing investment solutions for pension and insurance businesses based in the DACH, Benelux and Scandinavian regions. Wolters reports to Achim Küssner, managing director of Schroder Investment Management GmbH and to Paul Forshaw, global head of Insurance Asset Management.
Most recently, Wolters worked at Munich-based Scalable Capital, where he was responsible for the development of digital pension products. He also served as executive director at Goldman Sachs in Germany for more than 12 years. There he was looking after Frankfurt, Zurich and London Institutional clients, mainly insurance firms and pension funds.
Other Wolters’ previous roles were with Credit Suisse First Boston London and Citibank Frankfurt.
Schroders had €488.3bn of assets under management as of end September 2017.
