Baltimore-based investment firm T. Rowe Price has bolstered its multi-asset unit with the hire of Nick Samouilhan (pictured) as a solutions strategist for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), based in London.
Samouilhan joins T. Rowe Price from Aviva Investors where he served as a senior fund manager within its multi-asset team. Previously, he was an analyst for multi-asset funds at Investec Asset Management.
T. Rowe Price tallies more than $260bn in assets under management across multi-asset strategies.
Samouilhan’s appointment follows that of Yoram Lustig as head of Multi-Asset Solutions – EMEA earlier this year and to whom Samouilhan will report.
Lustig said: “Investors are increasingly framing investment objectives in the form of an outcome, not a benchmark return. This has led to the significant growth in innovative multi-asset strategies and solutions – which is an area of particular expertise for T. Rowe Price.
“Nick, who is a highly-regarded investment professional, has extensive experience with asset allocation, portfolio construction and product development. He is a great addition to our growing team here in EMEA.”
As at end September 2017, T. Rowe Price had $947.9bn of assets under management.
