Credit-focused asset manager Muzinich & Co has opened an officer in Dublin which will be led by Howard Mahon (pictured), appointed as director, pan-Europe private debt.
In his position, he will be responsible for strengthening the firm’s private debt capabilities and build a team dedicated to the Irish private debt market.
The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund remains a limited partner of Muzinich’s pan-Europe private debt strategy.
Prior to joining Muzinich, Mahon worked at AIB, where he was an associate director in the bank’s specialised finance unit. There he focused on providing subordinated and alternative debt to Irish corporates and SMEs. He also held roles within Deloitte & Touche’s corporate finance division.
